CDP Mission and Purpose
Cangelosi is a member and director for Dance Masters of America Chapter 3 Texas where the company students participate in their yearly dance conventions, scholarships and competitions.
Cangelosi Dance Project is a Traditional Dance School and Company offering a performing arts dance education in classical ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and tumbling.
Each discipline is taught and guided using the official Dance Masters of America (DMA) codified vocabulary booklet.
Instruction on correct body positioning, placement, use of terms from the dance vocabulary booklet, wearing the proper attire per class and artistic discipline in the classroom is presented in each class.
Our students participate yearly in the CDP Select Dance Showcases, Annual CDP Holiday Nutcracker held in December, CDP Dance Recital Shows held in the spring, master classes with guest artists, and informed of dance auditions for colleges and companies.
The company participates in dance conventions, and competitions that provide a positive and valued purpose to guide our students additional skills and performance opportunities.

CDP Competition Dance Program: (Meet four to six times a week)
This is our Intensive dance training program offered to our most dedicated students ages 7 and up who engage yearly in master classes, weekend dance conventions, scholarship opportunities, Regional competitions, and National Competitions. The Competition program students follow an intensive schedule for 12 months including training in Classical ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, leap and turns, lyrical, jazz, tap and acro dance
Competition Dance Auditions are held in the summer 2021.
